M&H Living makes 21 three-seater designs to order in our Yorkshire workshop, from £444.99, with up to six fabric options depending on the range. Lengths vary across the collection, so the right sofa depends on your wall space and room layout as much as the seat count.

Choosing by size and depth
MH Somerset and Soho are the shortest at 180cm. Jumbo Cord is 190cm, Amelia and Clara are 195cm, fourteen designs are 200cm, and Majestic sofas and Scarlet sofas are the longest at 229cm.
Length is only part of the decision. Sofa depth can have just as much impact on how open or comfortable your room feels. Charlotte and MH Theo are 80cm deep, Romeo is 85cm, and the other eighteen are 90cm.
Seat height is 45cm on twenty of the twenty-one designs, while Chelsea Line sits at 40cm. If a lower seat is unsuitable for your household, compare one of the 45cm-seat designs instead.
Doorway and delivery access for a 3 seater sofa
Measure the clear opening with the door off its hinges, not the door leaf. A 762mm leaf is not a 762mm clear opening building guidance treats clear opening width as its own defined measurement. Then walk the route and measure its narrowest point: hallway turns, stair returns, landings, lift cars.
Within many ranges, the published depth, height and seat height remain the same across sofa sizes. This means a two seater can be a useful comparison point, but the three seater is still longer and may require more turning space during delivery.
We do not publish diagonal depth, packed dimensions or whether the feet detach, because we have not measured them. Please check your access route before ordering. All measurements in centimetres. These are published overall dimensions, and they are not the same as usable seat width, seat depth, back height, or the rigid frame with the cushions taken off.
Arm height is published on six designs. A blank means the measurement has not been published, not that the sofa has no arm.
As each M&H sofa is handmade, finished dimensions may vary slightly from the published measurements as a result of normal manufacturing tolerances.
Fabric options by range
Six fabrics: plush velvet, jumbo cord, chenille, Conistan, Naple and teddy bouclé. Nine of the 21 designs carry all six, eleven carry four, and the Jumbo Cord range carries three Conistan, Jumbo Cord and Naple, because Jumbo Cord is the name of a fabric as well as the name of a range.
Velvet has a short, dense pile that takes pressure marks and brushes back out. Jumbo cord has wide channels, and the channels hold crumbs and pet hair. Neither is a durability claim: we do not publish Martindale figures or fibre composition, so we have not ranked one fabric above another.

Stepping up from a 2 seater
If the range you like is too long for the wall, check the two seater first. The step is not the same on every design it adds between 25cm and 61cm. MH Somerset goes from 152cm to 180cm. Majestic goes from 168cm to 229cm.
A 3 seater sofa often becomes the main seating piece in a living room, so the right choice depends on both available space and how you use the room.
What does the guarantee cover?
Eligible M&H sofas carry a 10-year commercial warranty on the internal frame. Where a claim is accepted, the affected covered part is replaced, not the whole sofa. Cushions, fillings, upholstery, electrical components and sofa mechanisms sit outside it and carry no separate M&H commercial warranty. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
Is a 3 seater sofa the same as a three piece suite?
No. A three piece suite is several separate pieces, usually a sofa and two armchairs. A 3 seater is one sofa with three seats. For a matching pair, look at the 3 + 2 seater sofa sets.
Where do you deliver?
Across mainland UK. We do not deliver to Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland, and the Scottish Highlands and offshore islands can carry extra conditions. Our logistics team phones the day before to confirm you will be in.
Will you take my old sofa away?
No. We do not remove or dispose of existing furniture, so arrange that before your delivery date.
Can I order a different sofa length, or a fabric you do not list?
Contact M&H if you require a different sofa length or a fabric outside the standard offered range. Everything selectable on the product page is standard.
Can I see one before I buy?
Our Bradford showroom at Thorite House, Chapman St, Laisterdyke, BD4 8BY is open Monday to Saturday and you can walk in. If you cannot get here we will do a video-call showroom visit instead.
