Plush Velvet across 27 sofa ranges

Plush Velvet is offered on 27 of our sofa ranges, from the Aaron and Ambassador to the Soho and Winston, and on the Westmere, Harlow, Odeon and Savoy cinema sofas. Depending on the range, you can choose a 1 seater, a love seat, a 2, 3 or 4 seater, a 3+2 set, an L shape, a corner sofa or a U shaped sofa.

Plush Velvet is available in the same 17 colours across these ranges: Steel, Sky, Silver, Pink, Pebble, Olive, Navy, Mole, Mink, Marine, Grey, Green, Elephant, Cream, Asphalt, Black and Coffee. You choose the colour on the product page of the sofa you want, and the sofa is upholstered in it after you order.

Colour looks different on a screen than in your own room, so order free fabric swatches and compare them where the sofa will sit, in daylight and under your evening lighting.

Velvet sofa prices, lead times and delivery

Velvet sofas on this page start at £389.99, for the MH Serenity, MH Windsor and Soho 2 Seaters. Each sofa is handmade to order at our Yorkshire workshop, and the product page shows the current lead time for each design.

Delivery is free across mainland UK. Deliveries to the Scottish Highlands and offshore islands may have limited availability, longer timeframes or extra conditions.

On our product pages, Plush Velvet is labelled a pet-friendly weave, tight-woven and easy to brush clean. It is the only one of our fabrics given that label.

Free swatches let you see Plush Velvet at home before you order. You can also see finished sofas at our Bradford showroom, open 9am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 6pm at weekends.

What is the difference between velvet and Plush Velvet?

At M&H, Plush Velvet is the name of our velvet upholstery option. On our product pages it is described as a pet-friendly weave, tight-woven and easy to brush clean, and it comes in 17 colours.

Is Plush Velvet the same as crushed velvet?

No. Crushed velvet is not one of our fabrics. Our velvet option is Plush Velvet, offered in 17 colours across 27 sofa ranges.

Is there a matching velvet footstool?

Yes, for 11 of our ranges. Each matching footstool is £349.99 and comes in the same 17 Plush Velvet colours. See them all in our footstools collection.

What other fabrics can I choose instead of velvet?

Every range is also made in Naple and Conistan, most add Chenille, and some add Teddy/Bouclé and Jumbo Cord. Our jumbo cord sofas are a separate range that is not made in velvet.

Is Plush Velvet stain resistant?

We do not describe Plush Velvet as stain resistant. Our product pages label it a pet-friendly weave, tight-woven and easy to brush clean, and our fabric care guide explains how to look after it.

What warranty applies to a velvet sofa?

Eligible M&H sofas are covered by our 10-year commercial warranty on the internal frame only, subject to the warranty terms and claim assessment. An accepted claim covers the affected part rather than automatically replacing the whole sofa.
