What the MH Luxury Chesterfield looks like

A Chesterfield sofa is known for deep buttoning and arms set around the same height as the back, and traditional versions often use large rolled arms. The MH Luxury Chesterfield keeps the deep buttoning across the inside back and inside arms, with straight arms level with the back for a cleaner, more modern shape. The separate seat cushions are plain rather than buttoned, there are no studs or nailheads, and the sofa sits on a low plinth base with short raised legs.

Chesterfield sizes and prices

The straight sofas run from the 105 cm 1 Seater to the 240 cm 4 Seater, and every configuration is 90 cm deep with a 45 cm seat height.

As each M&H sofa is handmade, finished dimensions may vary slightly from the published measurements as a result of normal manufacturing tolerances.

The 3+2 is two separate sofas, so its 200 cm and 170 cm lengths are not one continuous footprint. The L Shape has a 250 cm run and a 180 cm return, with the chaise on the left or right at the same price, while the Corner has two equal 240 cm sides.

Fabric and colour choices

Every configuration is available in Plush Velvet, Chenille, Naple and Conistan, with 44 colours to choose from. If you want a velvet Chesterfield, Plush Velvet is one of the four, and you can also compare other velvet sofas across our designs.

To judge colour and texture in your own room, order fabric swatches before you choose. Leather is not offered on the MH Luxury Chesterfield.

Lead time and delivery

Each MH Luxury Chesterfield is built after you order it, and all seven currently show a 21 to 25 day lead time. Delivery to mainland UK is free.

Check the access route before ordering

The measurements above show how much room the finished sofa needs, not the opening needed to bring it in. Check the usable width of doorways, hallways, stairs, landings, lifts and tight turns on the route.

Made to order in Yorkshire

MH Luxury Chesterfield sofas are handmade to order at our Yorkshire workshop. The sizes, configurations, fabrics and colours shown online are standard choices.

For a different length or a fabric outside the standard range, contact M&H before ordering and we will tell you what is possible.

10-year internal frame warranty

Eligible MH Luxury Chesterfield sofas include M&H Living's 10-year commercial warranty on the internal frame, subject to the current warranty terms and claim assessment. An accepted claim covers the affected part rather than automatically replacing the whole sofa.
