What the M&H Hazel looks like

The M&H Hazel has softly rounded arms with piped edges, plump back cushions and a channelled base, set low for a relaxed, easy-going look.

Choose the Hazel Loveseat, 2 Seater, 3 Seater or 4 Seater for one straight run of seating, the 3+2 set for two separate sofas, or the L Shape, Convertible L Shape or Corner Sofa for seating that turns a corner.

Hazel sizes and prices

Every Hazel is 90 cm deep, with a 75 cm back, 60 cm arms and a 40 cm seat height, 5 cm lower than most of our sofas, which gives it a laid-back, lounge-style sit.

The Hazel Loveseat width and the L Shape footprints are approximate.

Straight sofa, 3+2, L shape or corner

The straight Hazel sofas run 130, 175, 200 and 230 cm, from the Loveseat to the 4 Seater. The 3+2 set combines the 200 cm 3 Seater and 175 cm 2 Seater as two separate sofas, so you can place them opposite each other, at right angles or on separate walls.

The L Shape has a 250 × 170 cm footprint, with one longer run and a chaise. You choose Left Hand Facing or Right Hand Facing on the product page, and Left Hand Facing puts the chaise on your left as you stand facing the sofa. The Convertible L Shape adds a matching footstool that can sit beside the chaise for a wider lounging area. The Corner Sofa has two equal 250 cm sides, giving it a balanced layout across both adjoining walls.

Measure the room and delivery route

Mark the footprint where the sofa will sit, then check it against doors, radiators, other furniture and the paths people take through the room. The low back and arms keep a Hazel from dominating a smaller room.

Next, measure the delivery route at its narrowest points, including doorways, hallways, stairs, landings, lifts and any tight turns. If access looks close, use our sofa size guide and send us the Hazel layout and your route measurements before ordering.

Four fabrics and free swatches

Every Hazel comes in Plush Velvet, Chenille, Naple or Conistan. Chenille suits the rounded arms with a soft, textured finish, while Plush Velvet brings out the channelled base and is the Hazel fabric we list as a pet-friendly weave, tight-woven and easy to brush clean.

Colour and texture can look different under your own lighting, so order free fabric swatches and compare them where the sofa will sit, in daylight and in the evening.

Made to order in Yorkshire

Every Hazel is handmade to order at our Yorkshire workshop, so we start making your sofa after you place your order with your chosen layout, fabric and colour. Delivery to mainland UK is free, and each product page shows the current lead time.

The sizes, fabrics and colours you can select on each product page are the standard Hazel options. For a different length or a fabric outside the range, contact us before ordering and we will tell you what is possible.
