The M&H Romeo is our channel-tufted sofa range, with a scalloped back, slim flared arms and tapered gold-coloured legs. It comes as a 1, 2, 3 or 4 seater, a 3+2 set, an L shape and an equal-sided corner sofa, from £499. Each is available in six fabrics and 54 colours, with a 21 to 25 day lead time.

Romeo Sofas
What the M&H Romeo looks like
The M&H Romeo has vertical channel tufting across the back, with the channels rising into a softly scalloped top edge. Slim arms flare outward and curve up into the back, and the separate seat cushions have piped edges above a plain base. The sofa stands on slim tapered gold-coloured legs.
Choose the Romeo 1 Seater, 2 Seater, 3 Seater or 4 Seater for one straight run of seating, the 3+2 set for two separate sofas, or the L Shape or Corner Sofa for seating that turns a corner.
Romeo sizes and prices
Every Romeo is 85 cm deep and 75 cm high with a 45 cm seat height, so the main size difference is length or footprint.

As each M&H sofa is handmade, finished dimensions may vary slightly from the stated measurements as a result of normal manufacturing tolerances.
The 3+2 set is two sofas, a 200 cm 3 Seater and a 170 cm 2 Seater, so plan each piece separately.
Romeo depth and height
At 85 cm overall depth, the Romeo projects 5 cm less into the room than most M&H ranges, which are 90 cm deep. The Charlotte and MH Theo are shallower at 80 cm.
The Romeo stands 75 cm high overall with a 45 cm seat height, so check it against windowsills, radiators and side tables where it will sit.
Straight sofa, 3+2, L shape or corner
The straight Romeo sofas run 105, 170, 200 and 240 cm. The 3+2 set gives you a 3 Seater and a 2 Seater that you can face each other, set at right angles or place on separate walls.
The L Shape has a 250 × 180 cm footprint, with one longer run and a chaise. You can order it Left Hand Facing or Right Hand Facing, and Left Hand Facing puts the chaise on your left as you stand facing the sofa. The Corner Sofa has an equal-sided 240 × 240 cm footprint.

Measure the room and delivery route
Mark the footprint where the sofa will sit, then check it against doors, radiators, other furniture and the paths people take through the room.
Next, measure the delivery route at its narrowest points, including doorways, hallways, stairs, landings, lifts and any tight turns. Measure each doorway with the door fully open.

Fabrics, 54 colours and free swatches
The Romeo comes in six fabrics, Plush Velvet, Teddy/Bouclé, Jumbo Cord, Chenille, Naple and Conistan, with 54 colours across the range.
Colour and texture look different under your own lighting, so order free fabric swatches and compare them where the sofa will sit, in daylight and in the evening.
Made to order in Yorkshire
Every Romeo is handmade to order at our Yorkshire workshop, so we start making your sofa after you place your order with your chosen layout, fabric and colour.
All seven layouts currently have a lead time of 21 to 25 days, and delivery to mainland UK is free.

Our Bradford showroom is open 9am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 6pm at weekends. It is separate from the Yorkshire workshop where the Romeo is made.
Display stock can vary, so call us before travelling to check whether a Romeo is currently on display.
Is there a Romeo armchair or sofa bed?
No. The 105 cm Romeo 1 Seater is the single-seat option, and the current range does not include a sofa bed.
Should I choose the Romeo 3 seater or 4 seater?
Both are 85 cm deep and 75 cm high with a 45 cm seat height, so the difference is length. The 3 Seater is 200 cm and the 4 Seater is 240 cm, so measure the wall and leave room to walk past either end.
Are all sofas called Romeo the same design?
No. Several makers and retailers use the Romeo name for different sofas. Ours is handmade to order by M&H Living in Yorkshire, with a channel-tufted, scalloped back, flared arms and tapered gold-coloured legs.

Can I order a Romeo in a different length or fabric?
The sizes, fabrics and colours you can select on each product page are the standard Romeo options. For a different length or a fabric outside the range, contact us before ordering and we will tell you what is possible.
Where do you deliver, and will a Romeo get through my door?
Delivery is free across mainland UK. Deliveries to the Scottish Highlands and offshore islands may have limited availability, longer timeframes or extra conditions, and we do not currently deliver to Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland. The straight Romeo sofas are 85 cm deep and 75 cm high, so check those figures against the narrowest doorway, hallway and stair turn on the way in, and contact us before ordering if the route looks tight.
What warranty applies to a Romeo sofa?
Eligible Romeo sofas include M&H Living's 10-year commercial warranty on the internal frame, subject to the warranty terms and claim assessment. An accepted claim covers the affected part rather than automatically replacing the whole sofa.
