Choose the Majestic Configuration for Your Room

The size name tells you how the sofa is sold. The published measurements tell you what actually has to fit. The Majestic 1 Seater is 107 cm long, the 2 Seater is 168 cm, the 3 Seater is 229 cm and the 4 Seater reaches 290 cm.

The Majestic L Shape Sofa uses a published 290 × 160 cm footprint. The Majestic Corner Sofa uses two equal 250 cm runs. The Majestic 3+2 Set contains two separate matching sofas, a 229 cm three seater and a 168 cm two seater, so their final positions can be planned independently.

Compare Majestic Sofa Sizes

All seven Majestic configurations share the same published 80 cm overall height, 90 cm overall depth and 45 cm seat height. Their lengths or footprints change according to the configuration.

As each M&H sofa is handmade, finished dimensions may vary slightly from the published measurements as a result of normal manufacturing tolerances.

The Majestic 3+2 Set contains two separate sofas. Do not add 229 cm and 168 cm together and treat 397 cm as one sofa footprint, because the floor space required depends on where the two pieces are positioned.

What Stays Consistent Across Majestic Straight Sofas

The Majestic 1, 2, 3 and 4 seater sofas are each published at 90 cm overall depth, 80 cm overall height and 45 cm seat height. Their main published dimensional difference is length.

Those shared measurements make the straight sizes easier to compare, but they should not be used to assume identical comfort or identical delivery access. Overall sofa depth is not the same measurement as usable seat depth, and a longer sofa can require more turning space even when its height and depth remain unchanged.

Six Standard Majestic Fabric Choices

Majestic sofas are available in six verified upholstery families: Plush Velvet, Teddy/Bouclé, Jumbo Cord, Chenille, Naple and Conistan.

These are standard upholstery choices where they appear on the Majestic product page. Selecting one of the listed fabrics does not make the sofa bespoke.

M&H does not currently publish complete technical specifications such as Martindale ratings, fibre composition or confirmed cleaning instructions across every Majestic fabric. This page therefore does not rank one fabric as more durable, stain resistant, pet friendly or easier to clean than another.

A screen is not a fabric. If colour or texture matters in your room, order fabric swatches and compare them under your own daylight and evening lighting.

Check Room Fit and Delivery Access Separately

Room fit and delivery access are two separate checks. Start with the finished position by marking the published Majestic footprint in the room and checking nearby doors, radiators, tables and the space needed to move around the furniture.

Then measure the delivery route separately. Check the narrowest usable doorway, hallway, staircase, landing, lift and every turn where the sofa may need to change direction. A 290 cm four seater can fit its intended wall and still require more turning space on the delivery route than a shorter Majestic.

Packed dimensions, diagonal depth, detachable components and a guaranteed minimum clear opening are not currently published consistently for the Majestic range. Finished sofa dimensions should therefore not be treated as a guaranteed access formula.

Made to Order and Bespoke Are Different

Every standard Majestic sofa is built after the order is placed, so the range is made to order.

Sizes, configurations, fabrics and colours already selectable on the website remain standard product options. Choosing a 3 seater instead of a 2 seater, or Plush Velvet instead of Chenille, does not automatically make the sofa bespoke.

A bespoke requirement starts when you need something outside the standard Majestic specification. Contact M&H if you require a different sofa length or an upholstery fabric outside the listed options so the team can confirm what is available.
