M&H Living is a British sofa manufacturer, not simply a retailer of finished sofas. Our sofas are handmade at our own Yorkshire workshop and built after the order is placed.
Standard sizes, configurations, fabrics and colours are shown on each product page. Those are made-to-order choices. If you need something outside the listed specification, speak to the team about a bespoke request.

British-made on this site describes where the sofas are manufactured, not simply where the brand is based, where the products are sold, or a particular decorating style. Our collection includes contemporary and more traditional designs, but the common link is British production at our Yorkshire workshop, where each sofa is handmade after the order is placed.
Made to order
Every M&H range has its own specification. Standard product pages show the sizes, configurations, fabrics and colours currently available for that design, allowing you to compare the exact sofa before you order. Made-to-order production gives each sofa a defined specification while keeping the standard range consistent. Made to order does not automatically mean bespoke: anything outside the listed specification is a separate request, covered in the next section.
Choose upholstery from the exact product
Upholstery varies across the collection. M&H sofa ranges use fabrics including Plush Velvet, Jumbo Cord, Chenille, Conistan, Naple and Teddy/Bouclé, but not every sofa is offered in every fabric, so the standard options for each design are shown on its product page. Lighting, screen settings and surrounding colours change how upholstery appears on screen, which is why physical samples are offered further down this page.
Use published dimensions for planning
Published dimensions help you compare designs and plan the sofa within your room. Straight sofas, sofa sets, corner sofas, L shape sofas and U shaped sofas use different measurements and footprint formats, so the specification for the exact product should guide the decision. Because each M&H sofa is handmade, finished dimensions may vary slightly from the published measurements through normal manufacturing tolerances.
Room fit and delivery access
Room fit and delivery access are separate parts of the buying decision. The sofa needs enough space in the room, while the delivery route also needs to accommodate the furniture through doorways, halls, stairs, landings and other restricted points. If the route looks tight, send the team the sofa model and your measurements before ordering.
Warranty and support
Eligible M&H sofas are covered by a 10-year commercial warranty on the internal frame, subject to the warranty terms and claim assessment. The warranty supports the structural frame of the sofa; electrical components and mechanisms sit outside that frame warranty.

A screen is not a fabric. Order free sofa fabric samples to compare colour, texture and weave beside your existing furniture and under the daylight and evening lighting in your own room.
Fabric choices vary between M&H sofa ranges, so check the upholstery options available for the exact design you are considering. You can choose up to five free samples before deciding.
Bradford showroom

Visit M&H Living at Thorite House, Chapman Street, Laisterdyke, Bradford BD4 8BY. Compare sofas and fabrics in person, talk through sizes or access measurements, and discuss a bespoke request. The Bradford showroom is separate from the Yorkshire workshop where M&H sofas are handmade. Open Monday–Saturday. Walk-ins are available; contact the team before travelling if you want help with a particular sofa.

The quality of the sofas are extremely luxurious, they have a wide range of styles and designs to choose from. We customised our exact dimensions because we wanted compact sofas. They offered fast, free delivery and the customer service was the best I've ever seen. The lady Pakeza went above and beyond for us.
